In a few days it will be New Year’s Eve! I can’t believe we are finally saying goodbye to 2016 and walking into the adventure that will be 2017. I’m excited to see what 2017 will unfold and how Elle Talk will go along with it. However, I’ll be talking more about that on my final post for the year, later this week. Which means today is the last cocktail for Elle Talk in 2016! Including this post Elle Talk will have posted 25 cocktail recipes and that’s not including our boozy edibles treats! So I wanted to end on the prettiest cocktail I ever have seen.
This New Years Eve champagne cocktail is the easiest way to spruce up a champagne toast. All you do is add these beautiful hibiscus flowers into the bottom a champagne glass. Give it a dash of our favorite gold pearl dust for a midnight sparkle, and pour the champagne when ready to cheers! You watch as the flower petals dance in the bubbles and the gold dust sparkles up the glass. The edible hibiscus flowers are in a syrup that gives it a delicious berry undertone to your champagne and gorgeous rose colored pop. Needless to say you’ll toast to the new year and make up a few more things to toast to have another round.
For this cocktail you can use Champagne or Prosecco, just use your favorite! The Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup can be found at Whole Foods, liquor stores, and Amazon. I’ll provide an affiliate link down below.
