Recipe for hibiscus simple syrup using equal party hibiscus brewed tea and sugar. Perfect for cocktails and flavoring sparkling water.
In a pot heat up one cup of water, bringing it to a simmer. Remove from heat and add in two Hibiscus Tea, tea bags. Let it steep until the water has cooled.
Remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them. Bring the pot back to the stove over medium-high heat. Add one cup of sugar to the tea in the pot. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to simmer. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes while stirring. Remove from heat and let cool.
