A fall bourbon cocktail that uses apple jelly for a spiced and fruity version of a Old Fashioned. You can also use apple jam for a jam cocktail.
Into a cocktail shaker muddle together apple jelly, bitters, cinnamon, and nutmeg until the jelly is completely broken down.
Pour in the bourbon and give it a dry stir.
In an old fashioned glass or rocks glass add one large ice cube. Fine strain the cocktail shaker over the ice cube.
Twist the orange rind over the glass and drop it into the cocktail.
Serve with a cinnamon stick garnish.
