Easy to make summer Torani Syrup cocktail recipe for a Passion on the Beach. A Passionfruit version of a Sex on The Beach cocktail using Torani Passion Fruit Syrup.
If you have been around here awhile you know that we are beach people. Friday comes and we can’t rush off fast enough to the beach for the salt air and warm sand. We’ll sit on the beach all weekend eating ripe summer fruits and playing with Georgia until we’re all worn out. That’s something I love about summer. That there is an abundance of everything. An abundance of fun, summer flavors, neon colors, vacation time, events, and heat, if we’re being completely honest.
So when I think of summer cocktails that evoke all of those things it’s the classic, Sex On The Beach. A simple to make, fruity cocktail that can be made in single or batch forms. It’s also a favorite among all beach huts and swim up bars. So since I love to play with flavors I wanted to revamp this classic and give it an abundance of extra beachiness. With a touch of Torani Passion Fruit Syrup this classic is easily reformed to a delicious and golden Passion On The Beach cocktail. If you love a fruity drink on a warm day, you’re definitely going to feel passion for this drink.
I know drinks that come with umbrellas can seem intimidating but this drink is simple to make! All you have to do is pour your vodka, orange juice, cranberry juice, and passion fruit syrup into a shaker full of ice. Give it a really good shake and strain it over a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with tiki umbrellas, orange wheels, cherries, and even edible flowers!
A trick I use in a lot in my cocktail making is to use Torani syrups because they are unique, simple, and versatile, so they’re great whether you’re making a personal drink or entertaining friends. Plus, now it’s even easier with their pour valve to boost flavors in drinks by just adding a splash. It’s hard for me to find passion fruit where I live so it allows me to get unique even when unique flavors are hard to come by.
A summer cocktail using Passion Fruit Syrup, OJ, Cranberry Juice, and Vodka.

- 4 ounces Orange Juice
- 4 ounces Cranberry Juice

This drink is sweet, a little tart, and perfect to share with a friend. Plus, perfectly colored with that sunshine yellow hue! Can you say summer sipping perfection? I think you can add beach cocktails to the abundance of reasons why we love the beach. Is there anything to dislike about it, really?
