One of the best parts I’ve found in blogging is the friends that I’ve made along the way. I feel extremely fortunate to partake in a hobby that lends itself to being able to reach audiences worldwide. It’s not just fellow bloggers either. It’s people who just love to read blogs, people who love cocktails, people who own small businesses, and creatives from all walks of life.
I am overwhelmed by how creative some of the people I’ve meet through blogging are. I know people who make T-shirts, jewelry, wall art, furniture, and more. It really has had me thinking about how I want to share small and lite posts of their beautiful work with you. With changes in Instagram making it harder for followers to find new sellers, it feels extra important to share great small businesses. So once a month I would like to share some of my friends and their beautiful products with you. Also for complete transparency they will not be paying me for these posts, it’s just something I want to do to show you fun new items and help small business.
This month I wanted to share a shop I’ve been madly in love with, Andrea Lorene & Co based out of San Clarita, CA. Andrea Lorene & Co. is known for making beautiful eclectic handmade jewelry with modern touches. Andrea actually introduced herself to me a few months back when she stumbled across my old blog and a post with tips for bringing a new puppy home. She had used some of those tips to bring home her adorable cavapoo, Lucy and wanted to share. Y’all Lucy is a gem, and she makes it very hard on this whole wanting another dog thing! Anyways, after that I shared a few conversations with Andrea, then I feel head over heels with her bright personality and gorgeous work.
See the thing that draws me to Andrea is she makes her necklaces, especially the key adorned ones, from the inspiration of her late father and her path to finding Jesus Christ. I don’t often talk much about religion on this blog but as someone who has lost a parent and spent time harnessing my religion because of it, I related heavily to Andrea’s background to her business and strength. See walking that path is a devil’s advocate. You never wish to have someone go through it but it is a lonely road not knowing many people who have. So it’s always pleasant finding someone who just gets it. I’m glad I’ve to meet Andrea, and our friendship shared off a love for dogs and unique life moments. I think growing something positive out of something negative is not an easy feat but Andrea and her company do it beautifully.
Andrea makes a collection of beautiful necklaces from keys, with brave wings (featured here), arrows, feathers, and even a collection of lava stone necklaces. I am fawning over her Turquoise Diffuser Necklace and Danity Lava Stone Bar for unique summer picks, can you say serious heart eyes? Andrea’s necklaces would make for beautiful gifts for all sorts of occasions, and as I’m learning with this With Brave Wings piece, they make wonderful everyday necklaces too. It fits every outfit I’ve worn with it, has kept beautifully, plus it brings major upliftment to my day when I see it.
I highly recommend stopping by Andrea Lorene & Co. and seeing these gorgeous necklaces for yourself. If you would like to get to know Andrea better you can check out her Facebook or Instagram. Leave her a comment saying you came from Elle Talk.
I hope you come to love this series of sharing small businesses with you. Let me know down below what necklace from Andrea’s collection catches your eye the most!
